By car : Horning is situated on route from Wroxham to Potter Heigham on the A1062. As you turn off the A1062 into the village of Horning you will proceed downhill towards the river and then the road will turn sharply to the left. We are about 300 yards allong this road (Lower St) and you will find The New Inn Pub on the right hand side, alongside the river. Post Code for Sat Nav - NR12 8PF By River :
Horning is gorgeous village, this also means the river can get a little busy in the summer. So it is best to slow down when entering Horning, relax and enjoy the views. If you are coming from Wroxham you will pass the Sailing Club with the flag pole and decking area to your left, the river makes a sharp turn to the right, bringing you towards the staithe. The New Inn, Horning is about 100m past the public staithe, on the left, before you get to Southgate Yatch Boatyard. Gus will be available to help you moor. If you are coming from Ranworth direction, then you'll come into Horning past Horning Ferry Marina, past the many riverside cottages and chalets and you will then come to the busy Southgate Yatch Boatyard on your right. You will see sailing boats moored either side of the river. The Horning New Inn Pub is situated on the right, just past this boatyard. Gus will be available to help you moor.
