We offer traditional fayre and local specialities such as 'steak in ale Pies' with homemade short crust pastry and fresh Cromer Crab and Lobster. We use only 100% local English meats and we also have an extensive wine list and real ales such as the local Woodfordes Ales from Woodbastwick, ales from Adnams of Southwold, and Greene King.

Food is served all day during the summer. You can eat either indoors in our restaurant, on the verandah or in the garden, overlooking the river.

We provide a 'kids menu' with a selection of smaller traditional meals. This menu includes roast dinners, scampi, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, chilli, curry, spaghetti bolognese, cheesy tuna pasta bake and salads.

During the summer months you can count on the New Inn to get your day started with a Hearty Traditional English Breakfast, which we serve from 8.00am - 10am. Whether you're a boater, a rambler or staying in a holiday chalet, it's a great way to start your day. - you're sure to enjoy our locally sourced thick seasoned sausages and our finest back bacon.
